今夜は満月だった。
It was the full moon night.


サブリナはお月様を眺めて、大きなため息をついた。
Sabrina breathed a big sigh while she was looking at the moon.

彼女の計画は全て失敗に終わったのだった。
Her whole plans fell through.

サブリナが何をしたかと言うと‥‥
What had she done......



計画その1 The plan A

他の猫に命じてセイラムとずっとかくれんぼ遊びをさせ、その間に魔女さんと楽しいお話をした。

She talked great pleasure in chatting with MS witch while Salem played a hide-and-seek with other cats that Sabrina had ordered to.

計画その2 The plan B

窓から見えるカラスが怖いと言って、セイラムにずっと見張っていてもらい、その間に魔女さんに得意な曲芸（壁駆け上がり）をみせた。

She showed MS witch her wonderful stunt, running on the wall, while Salem was watching a crow which Sabrina pretended to be scared of.

計画その3 The plan C

管理人さんにお願いして、セイラムと一緒に素晴らしい猫、サブリナも魔女さんに連れて行って欲しい と話してもらった。

The manager asked MS witch to bring amazing cat, Sabrina, with Salem that SABRINA had asked the manager so.


ところが、魔女さんはニコニコと
But, the witch smiled and just said,

『そうか、そうか』 " There, there."

と言うだけで、何の興味も示さなかったのである。

She was not interested in anything.

サブリナは悲しくなった。

She felt sad.

憂鬱な気分のまま夜がやって来て、

When the night came, she was still depressed,

悲しみを抱えたまま、疲れ果ててウトウトと眠ってしまいました。

Because of her tiredness, she was dozing and fell in sleep with her great sorrow.

サブリナは昔の夢をみた。 She had an old picture in her dream.

夢の中に、優しかったお母さんが出てきました。

In her dream, her kind mother was there.

お母さんはサブリナに言いました。

Her mother said to Sabrina.


『サブリナ、セイラムをお願い。あの子は恵まれた身体を持っていても、優しすぎて、慎重すぎて、それを活かせず隠れてばかりいるわ。』

"Sabrina. Please take care of Salem. Even though he has a fine body, he is too kind and too careful to use his natural talent so he always hides himself."

お母さん。どうして私に言うの？

Mom, why ask me?

『あなたは身体は小さいけれど、知恵がある。生まれ持った身体など気にせず、そのままのサブリナちゃんでいてね。誇りを持って生きるのよ。』

"You are a small cat but has wisdom. Please don't mind about your appearance and be alive just as you are, Sabrina. Be proud of yourself."

サブリナは褒められているのに、とても不安になった。
このまま お母さんが何処かに消えてしまいそうな気がしたからです。

However the mother praised her, she was very anxieous.
She felt that her mother will disappear from her sight.

『サブリナ、後のことたのんだわよ。』

"Sabrina, I beg you all."

それはサブリナが忘れていた言葉だった。

That word which she completely forgot it.

サブリナは目を覚ましました。 Sabrina woke up.

夜空には優しくお月様が輝いています。

The moon was shining kindly in the night sky.



ーそうだった。私はお母さんにセイラムの事頼まれていたんだった。

-I've reminded what I have to do. She asked me taking care of Salem.

ー忘れてはならない大事な事だったのに。

- That was very important for me and I shouldn't forget about it.

ー大切な家族をわたしが守らないと！

- I am the one to protect my family!



『お母さん、約束します。必ずセイラムを助けます。』

"Mom, I promise you. I do help Salem."

サブリナは、まん丸く輝き続けるお月様に向かって
そう つぶやきました。

She whispered her promis toward the perfect shining moon.

次の朝、魔女さんがセイラムを迎えにやって来ました。
サブリナはじっとセイラムと魔女さんを見守っています。

The next morning, the witch came to pick Salem up to her school.
Sabrina was gazing them peacefully.


『セイラムや、準備は出来ているかい？』魔女はたずねました。

"My dear, are you ready to go?" The witch asked.

『魔女さんごめんなさい』
セイラムは魔女に言いました。

"I'm sorry, MS witch." Said Salem.

『僕、やっぱり 行けません。 僕の代わりに妹のサブリナを連れて行ってもらえませんか？』

"I cannot go with you. Could you bring my sis, Sabrina, in stead?"
